The Story Behind Ratnava

Every brand begins with a story. For Ratnava, that story began with a simple tale told by a mother to her son.

Growing up, Anuj Surya would often hear his mother tell him about a man who sold jewellery online and built his own journey through it. What may have seemed like a simple story at the time slowly became a source of inspiration for Anuj.

The idea stayed with him.

Could he build something of his own? Could he turn a simple idea into a real jewellery brand?

That thought became the beginning of Ratnava.

From Inspiration to Courage

In 2021, Anuj decided to take that first step.

There was no established brand, no guaranteed success, and no easy path ahead. There was simply an idea, the inspiration he had carried with him, and the courage to begin.

Starting Ratnava meant learning, experimenting, facing challenges, making mistakes, and continuing forward even when the journey was uncertain.

What began with inspiration gradually became a vision — to create beautiful jewellery inspired by Indian heritage while making elegance accessible to more people.

The Founder Behind the Vision

As the Founder & CEO of Ratnava, Anuj has been closely involved in shaping the brand from its earliest days.

From developing the vision and building the team to guiding the brand's direction, Anuj continues to lead Ratnava with the same belief that inspired him to begin: sometimes, a small idea can become something much greater when you have the courage to pursue it.

His mother's story may have started the thought, but it was Anuj's determination that turned that thought into action.

Building Ratnava

Over time, the dream grew beyond one person. Anuj brought together a team and began building Ratnava from the ground up.

Today, Ratnava represents a blend of Indian tradition, contemporary elegance, creativity, and the belief that beautiful jewellery should be accessible to everyone.

Every jhumka, necklace, bracelet, and piece of jewellery carries a small part of the journey that began with a story.

And the story is still being written.
